No, I’m not sure there is…sometimes you grow out of it after many years but it a long and difficult burden to bear

As of two days ago my cycling has completed. Thanks the help.
I had to do like 3 50% water changes to get the nitrates down to about 5ppm. Is that normal? And I hope I did that right.

At the end of the cycle, we usually do a total water change to remove the nitrate - draining the water right down to the substrate - so the nitrate level is now the same as the tap water level. If your tap nitrate is 5 ppm, you've changed enough water
