Hi got some green algea on the glass and it does not budge with the magnet or the scraper, dont want an algea eater in this tank, what can people suggest?

the algea seems flat, not hairy and green in colour

I actually use one of those green scouring pads and it works very well.

If a credit card or blade don't work, try using foam/sponge, like the kind used for making beds and stuff. I was surpised that foam got rid of the most stubborn algae that even a toothbrush couldn't get rid of. (Note: The algae was on my tank glass, not on my teeth) :p
