Hey all. I recently set up a 75-gallon planted tank and moved all my fish and shrimp to it. I have in it a bunch of guppies/endlers, one molly, three swordtails, two neons, six corys, three siamese algae eaters, a lot of cherry shrimps and one angelfish.

Since I moved them in (the angelfish went last), the angelfish had an all-you-can-eat buffet with the shrimps. Unfortunately not of them were smart enough to hide and the angelfish got a big fat tummy in a span of two or three days. Since a couple of days ago, I noticed that he stopped going after the shrimp and always stood in one place at the middle of the tank just staring at a driftwood piece I got. He moved very very little and didn't eat anything when I fed the fish. I figured that he was just diggesting all the shrimps he ate and if would eventually come back to normal.

Today I noticed it struggling against the plants and "laying" in the middle of the plants. He's clearly struggling. The tummy is still quite full (not as much as in the beginning though), and he hasn't been eating for a couple days now.

What can I do?

Attached are some pictures from a few days ago of how fat he got, as well as a video from today of him struggling.

Are you sure the fish ate the shrimp?
What does its poop look like?

It either has an internal infection or a blockage and there's not normally any cure for them.

If the fish can't swim upright and is having trouble remaining bouyant, then it's dying and should be euthanised.

I'm definitely sure he ate a bunch of them, I saw it happening a few times.

I moved it to a smaller tank by himself, raised the temp to 84F and added salt.

Right now, he's definitely straight, but lying on the ground, no swimming, really just keeping upright.
