Hi. I bought a striped raphael catfish not too long ago and before he was eating and all happy and now its not the same. He is in a rock, alive, but he doesn't seem to be going out and scavenging at all. He moves, but only in a new position in the rock. He doesn't even scavenge at night. Is this normal at all?

How is he looking? Fat or thin? I rarely see my striped raphs move now they are about 4" but they have nice round bellies....

i bought him lttle but i think hes like in the middle i dont wanna really lift up that rock and stress everyone unless i have too plus he hides most of himself but he looks fat.

at night when the tank lights are off try putting some frozen blood worms in. I have a syno eupt who acted the same way for a while, but since he was fat I figured he was eating. He doesn't mind pellets and left over flakes, but he loves blood worms.
