well we have a rena classic 200 with two balasts each holding two strip lights.. one of these balasts stopped working, we assumed it was the fuse. we removed the entire balast to find that it was totally full of water!! oops .. needless to say it no longer works, we have tried drying it out but still nothing. total bummer. if we had bought this tank new i think we could have claimed for it under the warranty, as all the seals were tightened, and we can't realy figure out how it ended up with so much water in it.. and before you ask, no it wasn't submerged!! and the other one is working perfectly (TOUCH WOOD)!

anyone have any ideas how much one of these is to replace, the tank is the BIG rena one, the 6ft one.. methinks this could be pricey! is this the sort of thing we could buy second hand??
