Stressed Out L-260

Well 9 days after announcing the death of my little L-260, "Queeny", I am just looking at the tank today as I have been off work with gastroenteritis, (not nice by the way), and I nearly had a heart attck when I spotted a black and white stripy body underneath the filter of the new tank layout. And there she was!!! I am guessing that the water change and the grief must have hit her hard but hoping now that she is pretty resilient to survive this. I honestly thought she had snuffed it and hadn't been feeding to accomadate her but I ma now so happy she is still alive.

I think the re-aquascape that has added more bogwood into the tank and lots more hiding places must have helped out loads andhopefully her confidence is coming back.

Thanks again to everyone for the commiserations offered but looks like they were a bit early!!!

Just thought I would let everyone know the great news!!

I'm guessing she will always be pretty shy whilst the garra is still bashing around the tank but I am working on a plan to capture him with a bit of luck within the week and transfer him into my uncle's tank.

:good: That is brilliant news!! I'm very pleased for you. As you say, she'll probably remain shy till you rehome the garra. They don't like having to fend off other fish for food and like their own little spot so if the garra is chasing her about, she's bound to be stressed. Good luck catching the garra. I'm sure in a few weeks time, once the garra is gone she'll settle down more and start coming out more.

Hope you're over your illness too.

;)
