Stressed Honey Gourami?

I posted the other day in emergencies about my male honey pineconing.  I then euthanized him to be more humane.
 
Anyhow... at first I thought my one remaining female honey was just enjoying having no territory to navigate and was swimming everywhere all the time.  Now, after two days of that I am thinking maybe she is stressed being the only fish in the tank.    The water stats are fine, she is in a 20 gallon with plenty of plants and hiding places, and I have turned out the lights.
 
I have noticed her stripe is a slightly different color than usual...  normally it is nearly invisible, then when she is "in the mood" it is dark brown... but at the moment it is sort of a ... orangey color.  She is not ill, nor faded, just that stripe is different... also making me wonder if honeys get stress stripes.
 
I attempted to get another honey to join her today but they were not in stock. I refuse to go to Pets at Home... so will call another Maidenhead tomorrow I think.

They're fine being alone, they're not schooling or shoaling. Try feeding her some live worms for a few days.

Update. 
 
I bought her a mate the other day.... and since I was going to be putting him in immediately for company and not be separated for quarantine... I decided to also put in 6 Norman's Lampeyes.
 
I swear, you've never seen a happier fish in all your life!  Amelia went from doing marathon laps in the tank since her buddy was removed to being glued to the bag from the moment she spotted one of her kind.  When he finally came out she pretty much threw herself at him and made it 100% clear that he was allowed to have "his way" with her.  They began mating within 10 minutes of him coming out of the bag.  She spent the entire first day not letting him out of her sight for a moment and being 100% his shadow.  She has chilled now and gone back to regular swimming, no marathons and no stalking. 
 
Amelia and Bumblebee (as named by my 5 year old) seem to also have no territory, neither one has shown any need to establish specific areas as their own.

Pretty surprising such behaviour but really cute!
