Stressed Gsp Please Help

Mix the right amount of Marine Salt with Fresh Water and replace all the Water in your tank with Marine Salt Water. Brackish water cycling can take up to a month, you see the salt in the water causes the Bacteria in your filter to grow more slowly whereas freshwater cycling takes a week. Right now your tank is not cycled, just adding bacteria and leaving it for 24hrs will do squat! Get cycling and doing water changes asap. Thats stuff your gonna get on saturday get it now, other wise you wont have aclue whats going on

yea but does this meen my water is fresh right now? what does aquarium salt even do???

Aquarium Salt is a basic salt very similar to salt we eat. Aquarium Salt is used in freshwater tanks to add a little tonic to it ie(Aquarium Salt is good for FreshWater Fishes skin it keeps it healthy)

also GSP are brackish puffers not marine so do not require as much salt as marine water, your GSP needs a specific gravity of salt of 1.010 to 1.015. That means you need to Add 450 grams of Marine Salt to every 2.5 Gallons of freshwater, 3tsp is not enough so right now your Puffer is living in freshwater!!!!
From what Ive read GSP can eventually become full marine!

so i cant just put it in there huh? i have to replace all of the water? and then put it in? then let it cycle again??
You need to get the aquarium salt out thats why you need to take all the water out. Your actually cycling the filter not the water so taking all the water out wont hurt the cycle the bacteria you need is in the filter.

oh, okay. i go get the hydrometer, test kit, marine salt, and syphin and just change the water and make sure the salt is desolved and is beetween 1.010-1.015? then put my fish in?

yea, i understand i have to replace the water, but do i have to let it cycle? or can i put the fish in after i change the water?
The cycle will take a month or 2 so you will be doing a fishin cycle so yes put the fish back in and follow the fishin cycle theres a link to it in my sig below.

Yeh do what he said with cycling only after you have the right Salt in the water, otherwise theres no point and never trust what they tell you in the fish shop coz there retarded and give dumb advice coz all they care about is making money

Cycling FW is very easy when you add alot of mature media in your new filter, speeds up process 10 fold ;) lol dont test me son I know Fish Tai Chi :D

What you do is Empty your tank of freshwater, put your GSP in a bucket for time being. then Start Mixing up Marine Salt and water in another bucket and fill up your tank again with the marine saltwater. Once your Tank is full and you have the right Specific Gravity , add your GSP again then start fish in cycling!!! SIMPLES :D
