Hi, I was transferring one of my male bettas from its bowl to a holding cup so i could clean his bowl, and it slipped out of the holding cup down the drain. 
But thank the lord that i have one of those garbage disposal things connected to the drain, so i was able to have the betta jump onto my hand and placed it back into the holding cup. After i cleaned its bowl, i placed it back into the bowl, but it is just hovering at the surface, or sitting at the bottom. Is it stressed out and in the process of resting? Because its usually swimming around.
