Good question, I have it but haven't used it yet. I'm replying to bring this topic back up to the top, but if no one answers you may want to ask in a more specific forum like tropical fish or something.
I really don't know if the product works but I do add it to my tanks during the cycling process and then weekly. I have been doing this for about 6 months now and I haven't lost a fish yet.
I just started my tank about 3 weeks ago and my fish have Ich. I'm treating with copper safe and have taken the filter out in the meantime. Would it be pointless to add stress zyme now? Or should I wait until after the Ich is gone and the filter cartridge is back on too?
hey i got the stress zyme stuff on saturday and used it. I'm starting my cycling process tomorrow. it says add the next one after 7 days. Hopefully it should aid it!
I've cycled some tanks with and some tanks without 'stress zyme' and have no difference between them. They all take roughly the same time to cycle.
I use it on my fish tank when I do a water change, just because I have a bottle of it. But it doesn't seem to be making a difference to the tank anyway...
