Hello to everyone,

I hope someone can offer some advice. I have a reasonably new tank, and cycled etc, all levels settled.

I have 6 Neon Tetras, 2 Pygmy Puffers and 2 Clown Loaches.

The problem I have is with one of my tetras. I have a Juwel tank, with the corner filter/heater arrangement, and this one tetra (who seems to be very much bigger than all the others) sits at an angle of about 45 degrees nose down behind the filter outlet.

He just sits there, any only moves for food. He does seem a little bit duller than the others, but other than that displays no symptoms of anything.

Can anyone help me out with this one????

Thanks in advance

how long have you had them? has he always done it?

All I can say is that I had a tetra who lived in a certian plant for about a month. He was the smallest of the shoal, never played with the others and would come out at feeding time, take a flake then go back to his plant. One day he realised there was a whole tank to explore and I havn't seen him in that plant since!

So maybe he's just a weirdo. ;) Or maybe he's sickening for something else. Keep an eye on him.

Have had him about two weeks. He is certainly the largest of all of them, and no he hasn't always done it. Only the last four or five days.

I'm just a bit worried, because of the loss of colour, but looking in the books and everything, he has no other symptoms.

It's not the he is fat, he's just big all over.

Any advice is appreciated.

Cheers
