The bloodworm are just tasty treats should not be part of his diet, very little if any nutritional value. The ammonia is of real concern and could cause a fish to stop eating and breathing.

Are defrosted bloodworms oka?

bloodworms have very little nutritional value but fish like them like cotton candy.

I would look into adding more plants and places for him to hide, white feces can be a bacterial infection but also can be brought on by stress.
