Strange snail apocalypse

It seems as all the pond snails in my 10 gallon have just dissapeared which im fine with of couse just goanna head to the petstore tomorrow and pick up a snail for the tank or two and a bottle of prime but anyways I have been dosing flourish comprehensive in it which has 0.1% copper and I dose it for about as much as a 10 gallon should be dosed maybe a little more and all I can see in my tank now is my fish which are totally fine and active and a bunch of empty snail shells.Any ideas on why this happened?Just wanna know as im a bit frightened at the sudden decrease in snail population.

What kind of fish did you have again? I had a 10 gallon that got infested with pond snails that had guppies in the tank. Eventually I had no more pond snails. I believe the guppies actually went around eating the snail eggs, so the population decreased naturally on its own until they were gone(which didn't bother me a bit! Lol.)

I believe the snails may have been eaten by your cory, because according to some people they might do so.

There isn't enough copper in flourish to kill inverts.

What is your pH and kH? Have you added any other medications or treatments?

And that doesn't explain the empty snail shells.

Well actually it do, one of 3 things happened.

1 The fish managed to extract the snails from its shell and ate it, Result empty shell.
2 The fish managed to bite a chunk of snail off while it was out of its shell, the snail retracted what was left of its body into the shell and died from its injuries, Result Empty Shell.
3 The snail died in its shell for some other reason Result empty shell.

I have added no other medications o r treatments and my water condiotner is prime my ph level is 7.0and the snails that are left stay on the glass so here is my theory.The tetras eat the eggs the cory eats the snails.Anywho im going to the store today to get a mystery snail and some more prime.
