Hi, recently my tank leaked about 50% of its water, I resealed but but dont trust it to be quite honest so I got a new 30L tank, there are just guppies in there at the moment but plan to put a different species in there when it has fully cycled again(I lost a lot of the bacteria in the filter due to the water it was left in going a bit manky but I did still put some of in just incase it may help) however yesterday was the first day that I had this tank running and that night I measured a reading of 1ppm for ammonia, didnt do the rest as I was going to bed but today I measured almost no ammonia, no nitrite and 5-10ppm of nitrate. I havnt done this in a while but they look like the readings of an almost cycled tank but surely there is no way that the bacteria could grow that fast and just from a small amount of old filter media??? Any suggestions as to what is going on would be much appreciated,

thank you,

Ok today the ammonia is barely above 0, nitrite is 0 and nitrate is 10ppm,
