Strange Platy Behaviour

The blue meds are usually a copper treatment, whats the ich meds called?

its called interpet anti white spot number 6, snail still alive, they seem ok, not really had a chance to look, been out all day, will do the second dose on sunday

Hows the fish and snail, i guess its a bit too late to see if the meds are safe t use with snails.....youve already used it, so what will be, will be.....

i thnk it must be safe for snails, it doesnt say it isnt, they seem better, flashing less but still doing it :|

oh no :( just checked them and one of my platies has spots on his tail

what should i do? i need to add the second dose tomorrow night, is this all i can do?!

turn the temp up to 30, but do it slowly...like, 1 degree per 1-2 hours until you get to 30....it increases the speed of the ich parasites life cycle, the treatment can only kill the parasite while its in the water and the heat will make them fall off the fish faster...plus the parasite cant reproduce at that temp, keep a careful eye on your fish though, keep at this temp for a week to ten days, i did it for 10 days and...ich all gone...no meds needed :)

The white spots you can see is the paracite ready to burst free and become free swimming pathogens in the tank looking for new hosts to land on and infect. Most medications can only kill the ich pathogen in this free swimming stage. So leave the medication in the water only treat again when the bottle says to, and as already said gradually turn the heat up on the tank, and everyone should pull through.

turned the temp up and about to complete second dose, most of the spots are gone and no one else seems to have any! :) hopefully he will make it :D

Remember to continue treatment for at least seven days from first treatment day.
If its the meds I've used it's every other day you add the medication to the tank.
