Strange Fish

Hi all, I have a couple of catfish which look more like eels then fish keep darting to the top of the tank and releasing bubbles . The are the only 2 that do this. Anyone know whats going on?

well stabbing in the dark he catfish that look like eels....id go with hoplo catfish....respriyory that breath from the top.....or senagal birchirs which do the same type of thing.....photos or find the discription<name>

I think eels are fish. And an eel-like catfish could be a number of species. Pics would definitely be a help.

O.k they are The Clarias, or Walking Catfish .

Wow you have 2 Clarias, What size tank are you keeping them in?

My tank is 180 liters. about a meter in length. Cool fish, they dont seem to bother the others. I know these fish get big so i am going to upgrade in the future to a 350/400 liter tank. At the moment they are only a couple of inches long and i have them 5 months. They are mad at feeding time , have a mega appetite so im trying not to over feed them.
