Yep, pretty sure Sarah got all three back - think one was called Charlie (and there was a sable and a blue amongst them) if I'm thinking of the same ones?

she got them back.

but, tbf, no-one actually knows if they were chipped, but all my cats are chipped, but, it doesn't always help. My vets NEVER scan my cats, nor did it help when one of mine went missing and has never been found.

I personally don't think she did anything wrong either, the dogs were stolen from her home, you can't exactly blame her for that
