Ok so for those of you who aren't following my journal i am in the process of setting up a 100 gallon system and as such i would like some ideas on what to stock / what you would suggest.

On my list so far for fish i have got down the fish that i really want but i am open to suggestions as to their other inhabitants...

bi colour blenny
royal gramma
clowns perc (2)
Yellow Tang
kole tang
Six Line Wrasse
Mandarin (2)

I have also really fallen for a sailfin tang today as i saw one in my LFS and it was beautifull

and heres the link to my journal My journal

I would personally stick with 1 Mandarin as they are very difficult feeders.

What about a dwarf angel? Coral Beauty or a Flame Angel - depends what corals you plan on keeping.

Why not add a goby to that list? I would like a Yellow Watchman Goby but have not seen one in LFS.

Fire Fish are also beautiful :)

If you don't mind aggression you could consider a puffer but that would limit you CUC options.

oh, he's talking about fish, when i read the title i thought....hmmm sounds interesting

I like a challenge with the manderins and have previous experience with them plus a great LFS to help me out with QT to get them feeding. Plus im after a mated pair too.

I was thinking a coral beauty but i read they can be a bit coral nippy?

Yellow watchman gobby is a good shout but i couldnt get a difinitive answer as to if they get on with blennies.

I love inverts so puffers etc would be out of the question.

bangii cardinal :good:

Not a big fan of the cardinals...find them a bit borring :zz

Coral Beauty supposedly nippy I saw a juvenile at LFS and it was fascinated with the feather dusters so prob not a good shout!

I just think they are amazing and can't decide detween that or a flame!

If you like the Yellow Watchman Goby and want inverts they are meant to be great with Pistol Shrimp.

Not sure what they are like with blennies, but would like to know as I would not mind a sailfin either :)

A nice shoaling fish would be good in a tank that size I'm sure someone can think of something?!

Someone was talking about jawfish the other day and they look quite nice especially the blue spot.

Again not sure what they are like with other bottom dwellers?

haha i agree :good:

Flames are beautiful but come at a high price fiancially....well as does everything in this hobby

Pistol shrimps weired me out to be honest, seen to many horror videos of them knocking out cleaner shrimp on youtube

THats the big question with bottom dwellers really. I had a dot dash blenny before and he was grumpy to say the least with most fish let alone other bottom dwellers. That is apart from manderins, everything just tends to leave them alone.

on the goby front im kinda taken by this guy...
