I have a 60 gallon aquarium
Im wondering how my stocking is at the moment

I have:
9 Neon Tetras
9 Guppies
6 Dwarf Gourami
4 Mollies
2 Ram Cichlids
2 Common Pleco
1 Mystery Snail

Is this overstocked?
Understocked?
Or just right?

I would say you're understocked, but then again i would also say that 6 dwarf gourami's is a bad idea too?!

From a purely aesthetic perspective, I'd have thought a larger shoal of neons would be an impressive sight.

Large shoals of neons are amazing.
Thats an awesome idea, ive been really thinking about that
and now that someone kinda recommended it im goin to go for it i believe

Your tank is not big enough for the 2 common plecs either I don't think, they would need a 5-6 ft tank.

Me personally, I would ditch the plecs, guppies and just keep a pair of the dwarf gourami. Then up the neons to about 30. Then add a more showy plec of around 6-7 inches.

A small tank will stunt their growth quite dramatically though, so the sooner they're in the bigger one the better imo.
