I'm just wondering if anyone has any stocking suggestions for my fluval roma 125. Some of you may have seen as a entry in the tank of the month competition (if you haven't already please vote for me or one of the other amazing entries), if you haven't the current stocking is 6x albino cory, 1x flash pleco, 4x kuhli loach and a bunch of endler guppy hybrids. The tank is planted. I was thinking maybe a small school of glass catfish or a pair of festivum cichlids. I may also add my six African dwarf frogs to the tank at a later date. If you have any suggestions then please say, I really need ideas. Many thanks.

Also the ph is 7.4 and gh should be around 13 dh

African Dwarf Frogs. I wouldn't do it. It's not meant to be that way. Feeding time can be difficult and if you ever need to medicate the tank, you have issues. Thats just two headaches. The frogs deserve better anyway than to be mixed in an environment not for them.

With the festivum, could be trouble if you end up with a pair and they want to breed. 125 L is pushing it for them, normally peaceful for a cichlid but might need more space than a 125 L, maybe...

I'm a fan of bigger groups than x6 Cory. Maybe that an option?

Cherry barbs might suit, also the whole family of rasboras to look at?

What type of fish behaviour do you like the best? Or colours?

If you like the idea of cichlids, I'd think about getting just one, and it's always a risk in a smaller community tank (cichlids).

Thank you for the help. Do you have any suggestions about what cichlid species would be a good choice

I haven't been into fish keeping for the past year and a half so I sort of forgot what fish I used to want/like. I think some sort of schooling fish would look good. I'm not picky about colours behaviours was something I was more interested in. I used to be interested in odd ball fish, algae eaters and bottom dwellers but I'm unsure if that would crowd the bottom of the tank. All the boring fish I like.

Cherry barbs might work, not sure if they'll be fine with the endlers. I completely forgot about rasboras so I'll definitely look into them. I was thinking about shrimp but they'll probably be eaten.

From an old thread whistling badger (thanks again badger, wills and essjay) suggested five band barbs and dwarf chain loaches but I don't think they would work well with the other fish I have now. Glass catfish were another suggested that I do like the idea of.

I plan to get more corries, do you have any suggestions about what species. I was thinking salt and pepper.

As for the frogs I've had some for around three years there currently in what's become a storage tank that needs shutting down. They have been kept with all the fish currently in my Roma before though not with all of them at once. I have a spare five gallon but I worry that's to small for them.

Thanks again for the help and sorry to go on.
