Mmm, thats all i can think of.
FYI the angels going to get far too large for a 20 gallon, and its going to get quite annoying because a lot of people are going to tell you that. Or a lot HAVE already told you.

maybe a pearl gourami or a dwarf... or maybe a dwarf cichlid like a ram?

well im definitely am interested in a gourami but i dont think cichlids are compatible with my fish
from what i understand dwarf cichlids are much less aggressive than the bigger ones. they're generally compatible in community tanks, especially rams.
