I have a 26 gallon tank with driftwood and a few live plants

i currently have..
1 albino cory catfish
2 platies
1swordtail
1  black phantom tetra

can i add a school of cherry barbs and an angelfish?

im looking to transition to a semi aggressive tank

Short answer, no.

You should be upping the numbers of your schooling fish before you think of adding any more. Your main schooling fish to add to are the cory and the tetra, they should be in a school of at least 6.

What are the dimensions of your tank?

Swordtails grow too large for a 25
platies and swordtails prefer hard water.

Cories and tetras need softer water.

Up your numbers of schooling fish and rehome the other 3.

Whats the minimum tank size for a swordtail because mine is only 3 inches full grown??
