Well I am dividing my 40litre soon. It will hold a betta with 2 african dwarf frogs on one side. The other side will house a betta plus a cory. I am wondering whether I should get another cory for this side of the tank as he seems a bit lost by himself. The tank is 16 inches in length, so the cory would have an area of 8 inches, by 9 inches to swim in, and the tank is 15 inches high. Would it be too cramped to add another cory? :S

as far as i know, cory need a lot of floor space to dig in. The height of the tank really dosen't matter. 9 x 8 seems a tad on the small side for cory, and as they do thrive in groups of 4+, then maybe cory aren't your best bet in the tank. But don't quote me exactly on it.

hmmm yeah have been reading up on cories and I may well move him to my planned community that will be set up in about 2 months..... he is only a baby right now, so tiny, so may move him over and get him some friends..will see how he is doing!
