Stocking Levels

hmm, thats annoying.
ok.
so basically the foxface and dragon need 6ft+ tanks when full grown?

ok, would the vision 180 be large enough for a fish only with live rock setup, but just for seahorses and pipefish?

Indeed it would, have a look at Connorsbala and kelwoos threads, they have seahorse tanks :good:

ps and when mature and with a copepod culture you could also keep a dragonet :good: there I go again

i used to have one of those in my old marine tank, it was super fun to watch :)

yes, you would need to set-up a culture but thats easy

they make great tank mates for sea horses

yip 180 gives a lot of nice options

Flasher Wrasse are stunning :good: Lurve my Mckosker

Small Angels Dwarfs are ok also the smaller angels in the Genus Genicanthus like Bellus one of the reef-safest Angels there are :good:

Blennies are a great addtion to any reef tank full of character

Shrimp Goby Pair are a good feature as well :good:

sorry to but in but dont bellus angels get 7-8"?? and therefore wouldnt be suitable for the tank?

Not really it would be border line

ok, im rethinking this now lol

gonna get a rio 240 and put the dragon wrasse, foxface and volitan lion in it.
then, in my 180, leave it just the perculas, firefish, pyjama cardinal and damsels. add more live rock and corals etc and make it all nice. have it as a reef tank and the other as fish only, with live rock and stuff.

might leave my freshwater tank as it is for now, then maybe in future change it to a species only tank, maybe seshorses or a snowflake eel :)

A 240 is not big enough for the dragon or volitan - the volitan needs at least 18 inches to turn round in.

Rest of your plans are good :good:
