Stocking Ideas?

ok I have a new 30 gal and a new(new to me) 25 gal tank. the 30 gal is almost ready to go with fish i just want to have my plants in there before i put the fish in., in the 30 gal i plan on having zebra loaches possibly kuli loaches and my male guppies and male red ballon platies. what would you guys recommend as other fish to go with the ones i will be putting in? for the 25 gal i don't have any idea what type of fish to put in it at the moment, any ideas? Thanks.

For more colour: male guppies, male dwarf gourami, cardinal tetras, rams, kribensis, opaline gourami, swordtails. All compatible as long as you have the correct ratio of males:females where applicable!
