I've got a 16.5 gallon / 75 litre tank (an Aquaone 510) and was looking for suggestions as to what to stock it with. I was thinking something along the lines of this:

6 Cherry Barbs
2/3 Sunset Platies
1 Bristlenose Plec

Do you reckon I would have room for anything else, or is that pretty much full to capacity? I'd really like to have maybe 1 more species in there but can't think what. Possibly a pair of centrepiece fish, or even a shoal of neons perhaps. If I'm going to keep platies whats the ideal number to keep them in? I just put 2 or 3 as a guess really. Also, how big do bristlenose plecs grow to be?

Anyway, any help and advice is most welcome. :)

i have a tank a similar size, i have 6 cherry barbs (i love these guys, the male colours are really nice) 6 serpae tetra, 2 sucking loaches, 2 thick lipped gouramis and 2apple snails

i think you should think about
6 cherry barbs
gouramis (pearls are really nice!)
about 4 guppies/platies
a catfish
but mine sounds over stocked but jut see how it goes add the cherrys first to get tank started then the gouramis. if you think the tank is ready for more fish add them
Hope this helps!
Jodie
