Well If the fish is that stressed, how comes it has survived for very almost five years then. From my experience, a stressed fish does not live as long as one that isn't, And I would have thought 5 years would be a long lifespan for a rummynose anyway.
I know that the fish you have mentioned are all really a bit to big for the tank, but they are all definitely fairly old, and I don't want to give them to someone else, for them to die in a few weeks or months.
I'll check later how long all three fish have been in the tank, and let you know, so that I can be told if they are probably getting on a bit or not, because, like I said, I don't want to give them to someone else for them to die of old age.
