Stocking 55 Gallon African Cichlid Tank

Hello guys, I'm pretty new to the forum and the African cichlid keeping side of the hobby, but I've been keeping large 
predatory catfish for a while now, Anyway back to the reason I'm making this thread. I'd like to know what species of African 
Cichlids I can keep in a 55 gallon tank with the least ammount of problems and what would be a good estimate on 
how much it would cost to stock the tank.

It really depends on what you want. More readily available fish like yellow labs and rusty cichlid will be cheaper than more rare ones.
