I currently have a male Betta, 6 neon tetras and 2 ghost shrimp in a 5 gallon planted tank. I am planning to move them into my 10 gallon aquarium once my Corn Snake gets to big and moves out of it. I was wondering what else I could put in it when the time comes, that could go with a Betta, neons, and shrimp. I was thinking a couple more neons, some micro rasboras, Endlers livebears, but what are your guy's thoughts? (My Betta is so peaceful, I could probably put 100 neon tetras in a 1 gallon tank and he could care less 🤣)

I'd leave the betta in the 5 gallon and move everything else into the 10. They might be getting along now. But the betta isn't happy with the company. That's just the way they are. And one day it might decide to do something about it.

What could make it ideal? I'm just curious, trying to learn :)
First off, as @sharkweek178 said, even though the betta is not bothering the neons and shrimp at the moment, chances are it will happen. It won't be nice.
Second, studies have shown that neons need at least 10 members in their school to be happy and act normal.
Third, neons need at least a 20g. They need lots of room to swim around.

Great to know. Thanks!
