Stocking 10 Gallon Tank

Also, after doing further research around the fish I initially posted about, I have decided that I am no longer interested in the gouramis. Although, I am still interested in the livebearers. Some other fish I have also considered are barbs and danios (not together). I am still looking into the water requirements for each.
Livebearers need hard alcklin water.
Barbs and Danios need soft and acidic water.

The current water conditions of the alternative water source are suitable for livebearers? Or does something need to be adjusted?

The water which has not been softened is suitable for livebearers.

A 10 gallon tank is suitable for endlers or perhaps guppies. It is not suitable for platies, mollies or swordtails which need a bigger tank.

It is suitable for Mollies (Poecilia sphenops/velifera/latipinna) Guppies (Poecilia reticulata/wingei) Swordtails (Xiphophorus hellerii) and Platies (Xiphophorus maculatus/variegatus).

Please note pH 8.4 is the upper limit of normal.

20" x 10" x 12" definitely is too small for Swordtails and Mollies. Too little for Platies.
