Hello everybody!!!
I'm on the 13th day of a fishless cycle and I'm trying to get together a list of fish that I can put into the tank when i'm fully cycled. The tank is a 90 litre and the dimensions are L 60cm x D 35cm x H 45cm. I have browsed round a few LFS and searched for suitable fish. All I want to know really is what would be your opinion on the below fish. What can I keep together and how many of each to suit my tank and more importantly the fish.

Fish I like:

Dwarf gouramis
Corydoras - bronze/albino/sterbai
Cherry barbs
black widow tetra
Red honey gourami

I'm by no means any sort of expert so please wait for a consensus of opinion but I don't think it's something I would do. My Dad has some Black Widow Tetra and they tend to stay near the top of the tank more often than not. With their 'nippy' nature they may nip at the Gourami as they may be occupying the same level quite often. Also the Brinze/Albino Cory prefers cooler water. I think you would be okay with the Sterbai though.

I stress - don't take this as gospel. I just thought I'd dip my toe in giving advice rather than take take take!! :D

seriously mate everything seems fine but i wouldnt get any black widow tetra in my opinion they are a horrible and boring fish and very unstable, they are prone to disease and infection and die very easily, get something like black phantom tetra to replace them i have had them both i love my black phantoms but would never even think about buyin black widow tetra again.

you can get red dwarf gouramis which are really nice, but you can only have 1 of the brighter coloured males, as they fight.

Agreed on the black widows, I was warned away from them by a friend and 2 lfs's. Phantoms are beautiful.

As for bottom dwellers, what about panda corys? or skunk cories? smaller so you dont have to worry about them getting too big... AND you can have MORE :p
