Okies guys i have in one tank

1 Sailfin Pleco around 12 inches
Breeding pair of Bristlenoses
4 Corys
1 Angel.. although there will be a new one joining soon since her partner died of old age!
3 what i believe are Hoplo Catfish.. i was given them by a friend.. I'll put some pics up soon on the forum if anyone could help identify them!
1 Upsidedown Catfish

In the second tank i have

2 Silversharks
1 Sailfin Pleco around 14 inches
2 Corys
1 Dwarf Pleco
1 Red Tail Shark
1 Clown Loach

The second tank seems to be alot more empty and could do with some new occupents and wondered if you think this would be sensible or if the tank is overstocked.

Hi Chewie

tbh the Sailfin plecos are in dire need of a bigger tank, these are one of the bigger species that can easily reach lengths of upto 24inches,
another problem for the future will be the Silver sharks that will grow to 13inches and will really require a 5foot long tank to stop them banging into the sides of the tank.
Also Clown Loach should never be kept alone, they are such a sociable fish that they don't quite act normal when they are stranded on their own.

I think the impressiont hat the tanks are understocked simply comes down to the fact that apart from the silver sharks and the Angel, All of your fish are bottom feeders

Thanks for the quick reply!

The clown loach did have a partner but died recently as well. I'll look at either replacing the dead one or rehoming the current one with a friend.

The Silversharks are about 5 years old, one is 3 inches, the other is 5 inches.

I wasn't concerned as such with the pleco's as far as everything i have read of them the biggest i've come across reading about them is 15-to 18 inches. The bigger one is 9 years old, the smaller is 6 years old. Still i am looking at getting a larger tank soon. I currently have two Jewel 180 tanks.

Measurements of the tank are: 101 x 41 x 50 cm

Hi guys i've done a bit of changing around, rehomed the clown loach and 14 inch pleco with a friend who has a few other loaches and a 500 litre tank.

Could anyone tell me if it should be okay to move the Hoplo's into the second tank which would then contain

2 Silversharks
2 Corys
1 Dwarf Pleco
1 Red Tail Shark
3 Hoplos

Would they get along?

In the 1st tank i now have.

1 Sailfin Pleco around 12 inches
2 Bristlenoses
4 Corys
2 Angel
1 Upsidedown Catfish
1 Pictus
