I was really busy with school for the last month (exams.....)

Anyways, it has been 5 months since I got my platies and they still havent had any fry....

What is the problem???
I have a 5:4 male:female ratio

should of had loads of fry by now.
maybe you have missed them giving birth and thay have been eaten?

The females should out number the males, otherwise the males will stress the females out and they will abort.

they may be too inbreed perhap go and bu a couple new fish from a different supplier, and see, are they all the same type of platy or are they different. may just be unlucky

I got this really fat platy but isnt pregnant...

I might get some more females...
