Are Rainbow sharks(ruby sharks) ok for a 35 gallon tank full of small tetras and barbs (smallest fish = neons) ???


I want to add one, but im getting contrasting views on how aggressive/peaceful they are

Desperate for some info pls from you guys

Everywhere says 6 inch absolute maximum. Usually 4 or 5

Lots of people saying not too aggressive (unlike the red tailed bs) ..

Some saying that they are aggressive and will eat neons etc

confused why so many people divided....


Anyone else with any views please?

they can be aggressive and are much too active for a 30 gallon

They will be absolutely fine in a 35 gallon tank. I know mine was.

if the neons can fit in the sharks mouth then yes, but if you introduce them small they should be ok
