Steves 190l Trigon

Tetra Optimat....possibly the most pointless CO2 system ever, absolutely no way of keeping CO2 stable as you manually squirt CO2 into a 'diffuser' cylinder and it enters the water at its own speed - once the 'diffuser' is empty you need to add some more - not easy if you are out! I gave up with it, DIY and a ceramic diffuser is a better bet, pressurised even better.

Looks very nice, just watch out for algae.

All going well so far, plants growing well, been looking at this as a co2 system:

Co2 System

Looks good, whats everyone think? How long can i expect the bottles to last?

That was suggested to me by this forum - in the end I hunted out a D-D system, all delivered for £100 (OK, £99, spend £100 get free delivery so I bought a cheap thing) from www.aquatics-online.co.uk which was only a little more than that set.

i got my d-d set today...very happy with it! d-d seemed happy to get me the high pressure valve for £5 if i have no luck but i have one on order from www.onlineaquariumstore.com for £7 i think

i just like a bit of local support if something goes seriously wrong or faulty
