Did a frozen bloodworm feed when i got home tonight, 20 mins later my Sterbai's started to go nuts! This is the second time they have attempted to spawn but this time they have been working it like no tomorrow. I've realised i have 2 females and 4 males in my group now, which is quite nice as its an excellent combination. However, its been a real struggle to get the eggs out as they only lay 3/4 at a time and mostly on the underside of leaves, so i literally have to sit there and watch then, then reach in and either pluck off the leaf or attempt to peel the eggs off with my finger!
I did a little video, nowt special but might be of interested to some:
Start with T position, an egg lay on a leaf that gets eaten! then a succesful egg lay. yey!

I've put the eggs onto the fry tank glass, same as i did the bronze spawn a few months ago, going back and forth made quite a puddle on the floor! I've chucked in a moss ball, a couple of alder cones and ramped the temp up to 27 degrees. Need to find a lid for the tank as the water does tend to evaporate quite quickly! Tested the water also, as i only dosed it with a drop of ammonia a few days ago, all looking good.
Fingers crossed they are fertile, T position is promising!
I'm going to go back to egg hunting, its quite tiring
