I've had these six Sterbai in my tank for months, all seemed well until I noticed a couple of them seem to be getting sick.

I have a soft children's play sand substrate, lots of plants, regular water changes and consistent water parameters but my smallest cory has lost his whiskers and some of the skin around his nose/mouth. Another seems to have a little whiteness around its mouth and some damage to one side of whiskers.

All of the other corys and fellow fish look fine, no signs of stress or damage. I suspect that it could be a fungus problem so have raised the temperature in the tank slightly but can't seem to find a proper treatment that is safe for shrimp/snails. I looked into Tetra LifeGuard and Tetra Fungus Guard but they seem unsafe for shrimp/snails and some reviewers were knocking Tetra as a treatment brand..

I am quite worried about losing any of my guys and having this problem spreading. Are there any treatments safe for fish, shrimp and babies?

EDIT: I don't have a second tank to move shrimp/snails into.

I've seen eSHa 2000 being recommended in places?

From pretty much taking the chance I have found Blue Planet Multi-cure to be safe with loaches, catfish and cherry shrimp. The doses where given at half dose and treatment took longer than it might have with using full dose but no shrimp, loach or catfish deaths during or after treatment.
Fungi usually don't do well in acidic water so you could also look at gradually changing your pH.
Another option which might help would be the addition of Indian Almond leaves, these will affect pH and have antibacterial/ medicinal properties.

Ah see my water is on the harder side of the scale..
I like the sound of almond leaves, I'll give it a Google, thanks.
