Red meat is as far from a fishes diet as you can get. Their digestive systems are not built to handle it and it will cause problems and will not benefit the fish. The marbled fat that we look for in a good, tasty steak is a killer for fish. Mammal meat is bad for fish and I honestly can't imagine why somebody would even take the chance with so many foods out there that are actually healthy for fish.

I would not feed my fish beefheart either, but nevermind that, there is a difference between the meat that we eat and the internal organs. When was the last time you had a beef heart roast?

Sharks don't eat cows, and sharks are not your typical aquarium fish either - that would be a different topic altogether. Can you give me an example of a fish that eats mammals?

A sharks digestive system is not the same as a clown loach. Shark's are carnivores, clown loaches are not. Feed your clowns veggies as well - courgettes, cucumber, skinned peas etc.

Piranha?

Although some large predatory fish (snakeheads, BIG catfish, gars, pirahna etc) do occasionally eat small mammals such as aquatic rodents they cannot digest mammal fats and so have to regurgitate them to eject the fats from their systems. While this doesnt harm the fish it can cause serious water quality problems and the released stomach acids can damage the bacterial colonies. If you want to feed your fish with kitchen scraps then small strips of lean raw chicken breast and pieces of white fish can be used, but this is ONLY for large predatory fish.
