When I started my tank I was really looking for a way to stay away from corals, because I didn't want to pay the extra money for lighting and they are really expensive. You make a really cool tank just from bleached coral and a cool rock structure, here is mine! This does, however, defeat the purpose of "nano REEF" but it's still fun if you are on a tight budget/just want fish.
