Hello everyone,

I finally have my African Dwarf Frogs moved to their own tank, so I'm reading to go brackish with my Molly only tank!

It is a 20 gallon with 5 adult Mollies and around 30 fry. The babies are getting big, almost ready to be sold to the LFS. It's fully planted with plants that are compatible with salt. (Java fern, anubias, anacharis, Vallisneria, and corkscrew vallisneria.)

Can someone please guide me through the process of converting this to brackish?

Thank you in advance.

If you are raising these mollies to be sold at fish stores, it would be best not to go brackish.
I am sure the stores are keeping their mollies in fresh water, they would have to be acclimated back to fresh water.

If you have a high ph, there is no reason to go brackish.

Are you thinking of adding brackish fish, other than mollies?
