Hey Guy's :D ,
Just set up a 10g (55L, I'm Aussie) tank in my room. Been reading a bit on the net and my lfs guy seems pretty cool. Couple of black mollies to go through the nitrogen cycle. Love plants and done a bit of chemistry. See how I go?
Hope to hear from you soon,

Bigjula,

:hi: to the forum.

Are you aware of how big mollies get and what their special needs are? Mollies get to over 3", so at best you'd barely be able to keep a pair. :dunno:

Anyways, it's a good thing that you're getting information before going all out. Stick with us a while and you'll do just fine.

By the way, check out the beginners section to get useful info on cycling and to ask general beginner questions.:D

Hi there and welcome to the forum. The beginner forum has some great pinned topics that should help you learn what to expect as you start your tank. :D

Cheers guys,

tempest, my tank is 60x30x30cms about 54L by my calcs. I think this is about 14.7g, a bit bigger than 10. I have three mollies. 1M+2F. Havent put any salt in yet but have the pH a bit higher ~ 7.5 and live plants. They seem pretty cool at the moment. Cheers for the advice. Growing to love them already.

see you all in the forum.
