Right the mrs says i carn,t spend a lot on a marine set up so i thought i would take it slow so ive found this on ebay near to me just wondered if it would work as a marine has its been a tropical b4 ?Also will it cost to much for all the other bitts i need to get it up and running. thanks josh.


Juwel Rio 125 Tropical Fish Tank



This auction is for a Rio 125L fish tank. It come's with all of the following



Internal Filtration System, complete with all the sponges ect..

1x box, Juwel compact filters

Power Head ( Aqua Clear powerhead 480L/ph turnover ) few months old!

The power head has adjustable air inlet to control the amount of air in the flow.

Standard power head that came with the setup

Air pump

Air hosing with valve to run to air stones

Tropical or Plain blue background.



The only thing that doesn't come with the tank is a heater, due to dropping it on the floor while cleaning!!!!

It come's complete with Cabinette (stand) in beech to match the tank.

you would have to check to se if the person ever added cooper to their tank. I would also sugest removing the filters, as live rock will be your primary filter. apart from the tank you will need

depending on what you want : reef/FOWLR/or FO then a ligth fixture
heater
live sand/ or crushed base
live rock
heater
salt mix
hydrometer or better yet a refractometer
testing kit
a skimmer, even tougth some of us dont use it

basically its expensive to get everything, but dont cut corners.

This is not strictly true. I am currently using two tanks that have previously had copper dosed in them on my reef system. All you need to do is just rinse the tanks well and fill a couple of time with RO and they will be fine.
