Starting A Sw Tank...

I have been thinking about starting a sw tank since last year. I know some basic's and I think I can manage but before I start off my tank I would like to know if there is any further advice you guys would like to share with me?
The fish I am currently interested in is clown fish ofcourse, peppermint shrimp, and mabe an angelfish or something. I'm starting small for now. Maybe a 30 gallon to begin with. Thanks.

aslo read the pinned articles
and look in the nano section if your tank will be 30 gallons that maybe be a bit of of a help
