She looks fab - and he looks very handsome ! All the best and keep us posted

well...

They have been slow to act...
None of them have taken residence in the 35mm tubes - insead insisting on hiding amoungst the slate...

until I decided to add the 3 room apartment I'd done - and bam.. the next day we have residence - the male was first to find his new cave.... now there is a female in the other side too :)

here is all you can see of Mr bristly :)

well... they have been at it :)

We have Eggs!!! :hyper: :hyper:

we only added the male 3 weeks ago (one day less) and noticed he was missing a couple of days ago.... went hunting with the torch tonight :) he's sat in the same cave, the other way round, doing a good job fanning a clutch of orange eggs :)

Fingers crossed we will have fry in a few days and then in a few weeks time we'll know if they are L183's :)

(I'm not expecting them to have a white seam to be honest)

We have the first spawn in the new shed :D

had another look this evening and there are a few wigglers in the back of the cave now :)

MrB took exception at me looking tonight and came to the front of the cave and glared at me :D

You know who to contact if you get overun.. :) Can't seem to find them in any local stores near me, and noone will special order them - as their stockists don't supply them.

no problem - you guys will get first dibs :)

It looks like a lot smaller clutch of eggs than common bristlenoses have. looks like about 12 eggs... but i could be wrong as he is hiding them quite well...

we have a cave of wigglers now :)

give it a few days and I'll get some piccys as the come out and hide :)

Good news Russ ;)

Are they in a species tank ?!? are you going to leave them in there, or move them to a grow-out tank ?!?
