Starfire/low Iron Glass Really Worth It?

Hello,

I did a search first, but wanted to ask: how big of a difference is there between low iron starfire glass and standard plate?

Is the difference, "oh dear god, how did I ever survive without the uncompromising clarity of this glass? I now see my fish and plants as never before!"

Or is the difference more like, "that's a little bit better, but I'm not sure it was worth $100 extra"

Or does it depend on water conditions and the color temperature of ones lighting?

My mates tank has opti white at the front and the difference was very noticeable when the tank was empty, to the point he was regretting not ordering it for the side panels too. However he has very strong lighting and a year in there is still a difference but not as big as he feared. I think colours are better viewing from the front and if I was ordering new I'd be tempted to get all the viewing panels as low iron
