Hi Peeps

Have recently purchased 2x Juwel Rio 300 aquariums (thats 67 gallons each to the peeps from the States) One with the normal stand and one without.

I have now decided i might like to put the two tanks side-by-side but there's no way i am forking out for a new Juwel Rio 300 stand and i don't want to wait around until i find one second hand

Really need some help here, as don't know how to or where to start

The standard Juwel Rio stand is the following dimensions

121cm long (approx 48")
51cm deep (approx 20")
73cm high (approx 28")

so if i want them side by side i really need a stand thats 28" high or thereabouts, although perhaps i can settle for one thats a little lower in height.

here's the general factors to consider

1. my budget is about £50

2. i have a small car, so only way i could fit it in is its if flat-packed or i get it delivered.

3. i am not able to make one myself (wish i was)

4. Time is an issue, want it sorted in next few days

5. Would prefer something "wooden"

6. it doesn't need to be a proper "fish tank stand" it can be any item of furnitire that will hold the tank and be close to 73 cm high (28")

please help with suggestions, thanks

PS - i reside in London, UK

why not sell the stand you have and get a larger stand and put both tanks on.i think it would look a lot nicer that way.if you have £50 now, sell your other stand £50 ish and you have approx £100 to get a stand made.try a local carpenter.
