Fish get burned all the timeI don’t think fish can actually get burns...
Betta for example, love resting on heaters - they never get burned.
I could be wrong though...

I think in some cases it can, most creatures feel something hot they let go or leave it. But if one gets stuck like this tetra, they can get a burnSo catfish, like plecos can get burned? What about other fish? Bettas for example.
That makes sense. So far none of my fish got burned. So that's good?I think in some cases it can, most creatures feel something hot they let go or leave it. But if one gets stuck like this tetra, they can get a burn
not had it happen to me either, though I've had snails jump off it immediately lolThat makes sense. So far none of my fish got burned. So that's good?
The snails jump off just like that lol?not had it happen to me either, though I've had snails jump off it immediately lol
Interesting. Mine never have. Some fish can become burned, depending on the heater and fish. Its happened with catfish particularly as theyre scale less. Planet catfish warns against it often
They are already in qt, as I just got them from the shop. I was hoping to move them into their main tank sooner, but am not sure exactly how long it takes for symptoms of different illnesses to show up if they have them.I wouldn’t QT him if I were you. Separating him from his school will severely stress him out.
Don't do it, leave them in there for now.I think I might risk moving them all from qt into main tank sooner, so they are less stressed by the small qt tank.
