Squirrel pics

there are a few bad squirrels around here, they jump on you but this one is well behaved. i can stand right next to it and it won't run away. i think it would even take nuts from my hand if i wasn't scared of being bitten.

freshmike, squirrels yell at you? now what would that sound like?

It's a really loud low pitched (for a squirrel) growling type noise....took me a while to figure out what was making the noises....didn't figure a squirrel would sound at all like that.

there used to be a squirrel in our back yard that we hand fed he wouldn't sit by you just run up and grap the penut in his paws and run away

There's one time in a park when there's a couple sitting just under a tree, and the next moment we saw a squirrel climbed to the branch right above the couple and dropped "something" liquidy.....

I miss the large greys on the East coast! Up here they are small and red - always chipping their teeth at me as if I don't belong. The eagles and large owls keep their numbers down to the hundreds otherwise they'd be really crazy!

thanks all! i actually think that the red ones are prettier than the grey but maybe that's because i haven't seen the red ones in ten years.

ok, freshmike, too funny. i wake up today to some starange noise. at first i thought it was some bird or insect but when i looked out the window, there was a squirrel sitting on the tree, screaming or whatever now i know what they sound like, scary
