Spraybar Plug

Does anyone know which eheim filter spraybar plugs would fit the spraybar of a Tetratec ex1200? I'm thinking the 2213/15/17 would do it but I'm not sure...

Do you mean the plug on the end?


If so, can you not just get a replacement from your local LFS, or e-mail Tetra Customer Services?


If you e-mail, they will most likely send you one out FOC anyway.


But back to your question, the EX1200 has 16mm ID pipework so you will need to salvage parts from one of the larger Eheims. The 2213/5/7s use 12mm ID pipework.

My local LFS doesn't stock Tetratecs and I can't find anywhere that stocks the part online. Tetra (who used to be fine with sending them out) now expect you to buy a complete outlet set at 15 quid a pop, even if you just require the plug and I need 2 of them so sod that frankly... Hence why I'm looking for Eheim equivalents.

If it's of any help, the Fluval EXTERNAL (for external filters) spray bar is the same diameter as the TetraTec

It may well be, the LFS does stock fluvals, I'll take a walk down tomorrow and enquire, cheers for that!
