I have a hydro sponge filter and I was wondering if the top of the tube should be submerged or does it not matter?

Hey Valyrian, the hydro sponge filter tube should be submerged because if its not, it won't agitate the water and promote circulation. They say that the beneficial bacteria needs air to live in a sponge filter or whatever kind of filter the person may have. I happen to have a sponge filter myself. They are inexpensive and great for your wallet(price wise). So keep it completely submerged ok. :D :D
